Program vs. Project
Program vs. Project
Program Support
Awards range from $2,500 - $10,000
This category is for arts and cultural organizations
not eligible
for Allocation support.
Applicants must have nonprofit, 501(c)3 status.
Applicants must have recieved prior LexArts funding for Project Support.
Funding for Program Support is for on-going, regular activities that focus on the arts.
Eligible organizations must have year-round, arts focused programming and be professionally managed by a full or part-time staff.
Qualifying organizations must have a demonstrated history of providing community focused programs and will be based in Fayette County and complete the majority of their work in Fayette and contiguous counties.
Project Support
Awards range from $500 - $2,500
This category is for any organization not eligible for Allocation support
Applicant must have nonprofit, 501(c)3 status
Individual artists are eligible for this grant level but must partner with an eligible fiscal agent.
Funding for Project Support aims to benefit smaller groups including volunteer managed arts groups or nonprofit civic organizations seeking to integrate the arts into their community programs.
Funding in this category is for a specific activity that is not normally a part of the organization's on-going programming.
For first time applicants, the LexArts grant writing workshop is required.
Qualifying organizations must have a demonstrated history of providing community focused programs and will be based in Fayette County and complete the majority of their work in Fayette and contiguous counties.
