Allocations & Community Arts Grants
Since its inception, LexArts has raised millions of dollars in support of the local arts through its annual Campaign for the Arts. In turn, LexArts underwrites the operating expenses for its Partner Organizations through annual allocations and offers competitive Community Arts Grants for arts projects and programming. Awards are given annually and applications are reviewed in the spring.

Our annual allocations are awarded to Lexington's largest and most established arts organizations who provide quality arts programming year round.
Community Arts Grants
Community Arts Grants are made on a competitive basis in two award categories: program and project. Grants have been awarded to a wide variety of nonprofit arts and cultural organizations, large and small, established and emerging.
