Bluegrass Printmakers
The mission of the Bluegrass Printmakers' Cooperative (BPC) is
- to be a thriving studio in the Lexington area for printmakers to work
- to create a dialogue about prints and art
- to expose and educate the community about prints and the printmaking process through classes, demonstrations and workshops
- to give printmakers an opportunity to exhibit and sell their work
Located in the lower level of ArtsPlace, the BPC has a press that accommodates work up to 22" x 30". Currently, the studio is equipped for those who want to create etchings, woodcuts, linoleum prints, collagraphs and monoprints.
